Mapping Croatia

  Mia is GREAT! - Our tour guide, Mia, was wonderful. Even though it was cold, windy, and snowing, she walked us through the winding streets of Zagreb detailing important historical events with wit and grace. We were a group of students from North Carolina who don't experience much adverse weather and even the most unprepared were riveted by Mia's information. We had a great time! Thank you!

  Lake Bled, this is the one! - Our group had a fantastic trip with Tom! No need to think about which trip to book, this is the one!

  Great experience, lovely forest trek. - Very enjoyable trek up to the highest point of Sljeme. Very good communication before the tour . Tomas was an excellent guide, he chose a trek of approx 2 hrs up through the forest to the summit approx 700 m elevation.There we had a typical Croatian lunch with great views. Restaurants prices were reasonable.My friend was tired so we took the gondola down instead of trekking, so if you don't want to strain at all, take the gondola up 10 e ticket and walk down
Tips: trekking poles came in useful.
Try booking during the week so there are less people around.

  A Great Way to See Less-Touristy Parts of Croatia - Lawrence was an amazing guide! He really made sure we got the most out of our trip.

And Tamara was the local guide in Varaždin. She was extremely knowledgeable, and also seemed to know everyone in town! Make sure you ask her to get you the local pastry which is basically a delicious breadstick!

This was a fantastic way to get to see an area of Croatia that isn't heavily travelled... at least not yet!

  HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! - Our first time in Croatia, from Cleveland, Ohio (Me, my husband, and our two adult daughters). Tomislav picked us up right at our hotel for our private tour. He was kind, friendly and so knowledgeable about Croatian history and wine! We would have never had the opportunities without his connections. We stopped in the cutest little town on our way up the hills; it was beautiful! Speaking of up the hills... we couldn't have made it up there without his expert driving. We visited two fabulous family-owned wineries. They were generous with their time providing interesting, rich history of their family stories along with delicious food and spectacular wines. I admit I indulged too much 🙂 But in my defense, we are used to US wineries where a 'tasting' is only 1.5 ounces. Tastings in Croatia are very generous!! We had the best day thanks to Tomislav and all his planned events for us! Thank you, from John, Michelle, Stephanie, and Nicole Secic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

  A great trip organized by Kristina, from Mapping Croatia. We enjoyed a fantastic 6 days private tour starting in Venice, visiting Slovenia and various places in Croatia and ending in Dubrovnik. Our driver, Tom, was always attentive and with great interest so that we brought back a pleasant memory of that beautiful region. Thank you Kristina and Tom for all your efforts and dedication. If we have the opportunity to go back to your region with no doubt we will contact you again.

  Great day out! - Beautiful countryside, lovely locations, very informative, all around a great day trip! The tour guide was also really friendly and nice!

  Fairy tale Castles and Wine Tasting  - We had a marvelous day with Tomislav, he was on time to pick us up from the hotel. Very knowledgeable about the sights and such a great person to be with all day. We felt like we made a new friend in Croatia. He even helped us with dinner suggestions and reservations for that evening. We will always remember him as a friend in Croatia not just a guide.
